Whether you manage difficult conversations between peers or find yourself a participant in one, challenging the norms around power in your professional partnerships is easier said than done. It’s with this in mind that we’ve cultivated a space for you to connect with your peers and practice ways to navigate difficult conversations around power dynamics, microaggressions, or implicit bias.
In this workshop, we will take the tools shared during Navigating Difficult Dialogues Across Difference – A Workshop and practice them through role-playing scenarios.
*We will ask that participants come prepared to share scenarios.
What will you learn?
Tools and skills for interrupting microaggressions
Tools and skills for managing group dynamics and conflict related to issues of identity, inequity, and difference in the workplace
Role-play exercises to help interrupt conversations in which conflict arises
Who should attend?
