This program is being offered as part of the Philanthropic Assistants and Coordinators Network (PACNET).
Our spring meeting topic is project management! Assistants and coordinators juggle many projects and work with stakeholders across the organization. You have to ensure that work gets done efficiently, deadlines and deliverables are met and the appropriate people are kept in the loop.
In the spirit of continuous learning and resource sharing, the June PACNET meeting will be an opportunity to swap project management tips and tools with fellow members and support one another in your respective roles.
Donita Volkwijn, Manager of Knowledge Management at Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors, will facilitate the meeting and offer the group a knowledge management framework – people, process, technology – that can help you identify both assets to draw on and challenges to address in your management of projects.
Immediately following the program, Philanthropy New York is delighted to host a networking reception for PACNET members.
Philanthropic Assistants and Coordinators Network (PACNET) is designed to address the professional development and networking needs for individuals serving in an administrative support function to senior leadership in their organization. The network meets several times per year and seeks to develop a community for the purpose of sharing questions, experience and resources among peers in a confidential setting.
