The NYC Workforce Funders Collaborative is pleased to return in person (with a virtual option) for its final quarterly learning session of 2022. The session will feature a labor market outlook from James Parrott, Director of Economic and Fiscal Policies, Center for New York City Affairs (CNYCA) at The New School, and perspectives on the city’s economic recovery from leading workforce development intermediaries and the business community. Following James Parrott’s labor market analysis, Sharon Sewell-Fairman, Chief Executive Officer, Workforce Professionals Training Institute (WPTI), Lina Moe, Assistant Director for Economic Affairs, CNYCA, and Gregory Morris, Chief Executive Officer, NYC Employment and Training Coalition (NYCETC), will join Parrott and moderator Cass Conrad, Executive Director, The Carroll & Milton Petrie Foundation, for a discussion of the recently released New York City’s Workforce Landscape report and the major workforce policy and program recommendations from a forthcoming follow-up report. Kathryn Wylde, President & CEO, Partnership for New York City, and Jessica Walker, President & CEO, Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, will then join moderator Randy Moore, President, CD&R Foundation, to discuss the needs of the business community and opportunities for industry to inform the city’s workforce development strategy.

This is in-person event. Space is limited and will be first come, first serve basis. If you are unable to join in-person, virtual option will be offered.
