In early April, more than a dozen local women’s organizations will convene in Iraq to share strategies to confront ISIS occupation, sectarian conflict and pervasive gender-based violence, including systematic sexual slavery. Hear their policy recommendations for securing the lives and human rights of women, girls and LGBT Iraqis. Learn about their work to document human rights abuses in ISIS-controlled areas and provide emergency relocation, safe-housing and other critical services to those most at risk.

Join us for a lunch-time panel discussion with frontline Iraqi activists representing the Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraq and a broad coalition of Iraqi women’s organizations.
