Please join us for a conversation with Rohit Aggarwala, New York City’s Chief Climate Officer and Commissioner for the Department of Environmental Protection. Commissioner Aggarwala will discuss the climate and urban sustainability challenges facing the City, and Mayor Adams' and his own vision for addressing them. Specifically, the Commissioner will discuss current and future efforts to strengthen climate resilience, accelerate decarbonization of key sectors, and address environmental justice concerns in city operations. Lastly, the Commissioner will explore with funders on how best to work with the Adams Administration to achieve the City’s climate, sustainability and environmental justice goals.
