PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
Philanthropy New York's Foundation Administrators Network is a resource for those working in foundation administration.
The network meets quarterly to give participants an opportunity to connect with colleagues in person, discuss topics of interest in a confidential setting, and meet Philanthropy New York staffers who support the network. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Agenda:
The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) enacts the most ambitious reform to health care coverage in this country since Medicare was introduced. It is important that employers know how the reform will impact their organizations and what to do to get prepared. We're very excited to have Jim O'Conner, a noted expert, highlight how the new legislation may affect your organization and your staff. The presentation will also outline the new employer mandates, tax implications and timeline for reform.
PRESENTER:
- Terry Brown, CBIZ EAO Benefits
- Jim O'Connor, CBIZ EAO Benefits
Reminder: As always, creating a confidential space at network meetings is very important. Please do not share specific details from the meetings with individuals outside the network.
