PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Philanthropy New York's Foundation Administrators Network is a resource for those working in foundation administration.

The network meets quarterly to give participants an opportunity to connect with colleagues in person, discuss topics of interest in a confidential setting, and meet Philanthropy New York staffers who support the network. New members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Agenda

Employers aim to provide adequate health benefits for their employees. Strategizing an economical plan that offers expansive coverage, is competitive within the marketplace, and complies with legislative regulations can be overwhelming. George Wilson from Willis-HRH will join us to discuss the different options available to employers who provide health benefits to employees, dependents and retirees. The presentation will cover plan structure choices (PPO, HMO, EPO, CDHP, etc.), reimbursement accounts (FSA, HRA, HSA), self-insuring, extending coverage to domestic partners, covering children up to 26 years of age, and retiree benefits overlap with Medicare.

We also look forward to a lively discussion among FAN members. All are encouraged to share their professional knowledge and experiences on these topics as well as on how to effectively communicate and implement changes.

Speaker

  • George Wilson, Senior Vice President, Willis NY Human Capital Practice

REMINDER: As always, creating a confidential space at network meetings is very important.  Please do not share specific details from the meetings with individuals outside the network.
