WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Funders interested in immigration issues.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Lunch will be served.

Please join us for a briefing with the National Immigration Law Center (NILC) on the current state of federal immigration policy.  The briefing will be an opportunity to meet NILC’s newly-appointed Policy Director, Tyler Moran, and hear about NILC’s policy priorities, particularly in light of health reform, immigration reform, and immigration enforcement reform.

Based on donor interest, Tyler and Marielena Hincapié, NILC's Executive Director, will be available to discuss the intersections between immigration and criminal justice, labor, privacy rights, labor and health care, as well as NILC’s model of working in support of grassroots organizations and through building alliances across movements.
