Stephany Fong serves as the Director of Communications at Philanthropy New York. Stephany is a nonprofit communications professional with over 10 years of experience in strategic communications, philanthropy, and public health.
Prior to joining Philanthropy New York, she served as the North America Communications Manager at WomenLift Health, where she led the communications strategy for the North America region to effectively illustrate the impact of women’s leadership on global health outcomes. Previously, she served as Communications Officer at the New York Health Foundation, where she managed internal and external communications strategies to raise the visibility of the Foundation and its impact on public health in New York State. Previously, Stephany served as Health Promotion Assistant at Columbia Health, where she developed and implemented health initiatives to improve physical activity, nutrition, and healthy relationships among students.
Stephany holds a Master of Public Health degree from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego
