Mellon Foundation Supports Scholarship on America’s Immigration History, including Interactive Graphics
While the debate over Syrian refugees rages and Donald Trump gushes over plans for his massive wall along the Mexican border, the University of Richmond’s Digital Scholarship Lab created this detailed reminder of America’s colorful history as a nation of immigrants.
The project, dubbed “American Panorama,” is described as “an historical atlas” and delves into aspects of American history with the help of Stamen Design and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.
