Those “associations” have blessed many through the years, as have the largesse of successful business people.
Imagine if Andrew Carnegie had not decided to use his considerable wealth to establish a system of more than 2,000 public libraries, or if he hadn’t donated $125 million to the Carnegie Corporation to fund colleges and other schools.
