As Manager of Member Engagement at Philanthropy New York, Ashley Allen works with PNY’s Salesforce CRM, maintaining existing and establishing new relationships with current and prospective members. She is a key resource to members and strengthens PNY’s internal systems and operations.
Ashley brings extensive experience with enacting change in both education and educational non-profits within a variety of low-income communities. She has worked in charter schools as a secondary English teacher and worked to provide free tutoring for disadvantaged students. She also has a self-created background in Salesforce and is working on obtaining her Salesforce Admin certification.
Ashley is excited to build her skills and learn more about the philanthropic industry. She admires Philanthropy New York’s vision and is looking forward to incorporating those values into the work that she does.
In her personal time, Ashley enjoys reading fantasy and science fiction novels and going to museums and art galleries. Ashley holds a BA in English Literature from SUNY (State University of New York) at Geneseo and a MsEd in Secondary English Education from CUNY (City University of New York at) Lehman.
