Klarman and Barr Foundations Team up on $25 Million Arts Initiative
The Barr Foundation in Boston yesterday announced it has awarded $9,693,000 to 29 Massachusetts arts nonprofits in connection with a new initiative aimed at strengthening the financial health and capacity of those organizations.
The grants are part of a larger $25 million investment in the 29 nonprofits by the Barr Foundation and The Klarman Family Foundation, called the Barr-Klarman Massachusetts Arts Initiative.
