2018 New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards Finalists Announced
Fourteen nonprofit groups from across the city have been chosen as finalists for The New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards for demonstrating excellence in nonprofit management practices. The program, run by the Nonprofit Coordinating Committee of New York (NPCC), will culminate in the inaugural Best Nonprofit Conference, at which winning organizations will be announced.
The Awards recognize innovative and replicable nonprofit management practices. An expert 31-member selection committee chose the 14 finalists from a pool of 36 qualified applicants, following a readiness assessment, in-depth application, and 360-review of all management practices. The finalists will submit a second round application that demonstrates best practices in each of the Eight Key Areas of Nonprofit Excellence, as well as an overarching organizational commitment to fostering curiosity, equity, and innovation. These organizations will be eligible to win prizes in each of the Eight Key Areas of Nonprofit Excellence.
