American Express Grant Will Help Renovations at Historic Utah Pickle Company Building

American Express teamed up with private, non-profit group called The National Trust for Historic Preservation and Main Street America teamed up with and held a nationwide competition between 25 cities to grant them up to $150,000 to restore a historic city site.

Residents had to vote for their city to win the contest, and Salt Lake City was among 11 winning cities. It was granted $50,000 after it received about 50,000 votes.
