New York Life Donates $100,000 In Response to Orlando Terrorist Attack
New York Life announced today that it will donate $100,000 to provide assistance to those affected by the nation's deadliest mass shooting incident and worst terrorist attack since 9/11.
The company will make a $50,000 donation to OneOrlando Fund and $50,000 to the LGBT Center of Orlando. Both organizations are providing support and services to first responders, victims and the community.
“We are deeply saddened by this act of violence that has affected many innocent lives,” said Ted Mathas, Chairman and CEO of New York Life. “We hope our support will help bring a measure of comfort to the families, friends, loved ones, and first responders in the difficult days ahead.”
