Wallace Foundation Releases Report on Creating Effective School Principals
A new report commissioned by the Wallace Foundation has outlined three major state policies that are necessary in order to create the most effective principals for public schools. According to the report, it is the first study of its kind to examine how state policy could be effective in helping to produce higher quality principals.
"Drawing from sources including the experiences of states that have focused on developing stronger principal policy, this report aims to fill that gap by offering guidance in the form of three sets of considerations for those who want to take action," the report reads....
