United Hospital Fund Report on CHIP Finds Sharp Increase in NYS Enrollment

United Hospital Fund just issued a HealthWatch brief on CHIP’s impact on New York State that may be helpful in your coverage of the issue—it reports that enrollment in the state’s Child Health Plus program, primarily funded by CHIP, jumped by 17 percent between July 2016 and July 2017 after four years of declines. to a total almost 350,000 children.
