United Hospital Fund Honors 31 Health Care Trustees
United Hospital Fund (UHF) presented Distinguished Trustee Awards to 31 trustees from New York metropolitan area hospitals and health care organizations at a luncheon today at Cipriani 42nd Street. The honorees were recognized for their extraordinary leadership and service to hospitals, nursing homes, and home care organizations throughout the five boroughs of New York City and neighboring Long Island, Westchester, and New Jersey.
This is the 27th year the Fund has presented Distinguished Trustee Awards. All of the trustees were nominated by their respective institutions, and all share the same goals as UHF—to ensure safe, effective, affordable care, and a financially sound health care system, serving the needs of diverse communities and populations throughout the New York metropolitan region...
