Ruskay Receives Honorary Degree, Offers Advice to Yeshiva University Graduates
Exhorting its new graduates to “identify your calling,” UJA-Federation of New York Executive Vice President and CEO John S. Ruskay addressed Yeshiva University’s commencement on May 22nd and was awarded an honorary doctorate by the school.
Ruskay, who is stepping down June 30th after 15 years heading UJA-Federation, urged the students to ask: “What is my calling? What is it that will provide the basis for a life of meaning, purpose, and, I might add, holiness?”
