Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN, FAAN, has joined the John A. Hartford Foundation and taken up her role as its new president, the Foundation announced today. Dr. Fulmer brings experience as a nurse, researcher, teacher, administrator, and innovator to her new position, and is deeply committed to transforming the way health care is delivered to older Americans. She succeeds Corinne H. Rieder, EdD, who led the Foundation from 1997 until her retirement in 2015.
 
Dr. Fulmer served most recently as a University Distinguished Professor and Dean of the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, and Professor of Public Policy and Urban Affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, at Northeastern University. She began her new role at the John A. Hartford Foundation on May 15th, 2015....
