When it comes to paid family leave, the United States has a dismal record. Not only does it not offer any federally-mandated policies on paid paternity or paid sick leave, it is one of only three countries in the world that does not offer paid maternity leave.
 
But one industry is leading the way on family leave policies: the technology sector.
 
In a new report on paid family leave in the tech industry, TCF fellow Julie Kashen explains how companies like Netflix, Google, and Facebook are setting new standards for family-forward leave policies.
