Sloan Foundation Awards Honor 7 NYC Teachers for their Creativity in Science, Math Instruction
Going by the book isn’t enough for a select group of city teachers being honored Wednesday with the annual Sloan Awards for Teaching Science and Mathematics.
The seven winners also created boot camps and teams, and helped their students tackle complex problems such as high asthma rates and obesity to immerse them in the worlds of math and science. . .
