Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand Backs the Bernie Sanders 'Medicare For All' Bill
Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand has signed on to the “Medicare for All” plan, making her the latest potential presidential candidate to get behind the bill.
The bill crafted by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, expected to be rolled out Wednesday, would expand the health care program for the elderly, run through the federal government, to everyone.
Universal health care coverage was a trademark of Sanders' campaign for the White House last year, though his latest push has attracted a wider array of Democrats. . .
