Richard Rockefeller Killed in Plane Crash
Dr. Richard Rockefeller, son of philanthropist David Rockefeller, was killed Friday morning when the small plane he was piloting crashed shortly after takeoff.
Dr. Rockefeller, an advisory trustee of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund and a past president of the Rockefeller Family Fund, was family physician in Falmouth, Me., and before that he practiced and taught medicine in Portland, Me. He was married with two children and two stepchildren.
