On April 1st, Philanthropy New York conducted a well-received teleconference—sponsored by the Japan Foundation New York, the Mizuho USA Foundation, and the Toshiba America Foundation—which focused on the extraordinary disaster confronting Japan. We are pleased to have the presenter at that teleconference, James Gannon, Executive Director of the Japan Center for International Exchange, share more of his thoughts and advice on relief and recovery efforts for Japan.
