Report: Most NY Colleges Comply with Sex Assault Law
A majority of New York’s colleges and universities are handling instances and allegations of sexual assault in accordance with the state’s “Enough is Enough” law, according to the findings of a statewide compliance review released Tuesday.
Schools could be rated compliant, significantly compliant or not compliant following the review, which looked at whether campuses were maintaining proper records, following procedure correctly, training students and staff, notifying students of their rights and conducting investigations according to the law.
Out of 244 institutions reviewed, 120 rated significantly compliant, 95 rated compliant and 29 rated not compliant...
