Report Details Employment Challenges Facing Latino Youth
A study supported by the Rockefeller Foundation finds that Latinos, the youngest and fastest-growing segment of the American labor force, face considerable challenges gaining stable employment.
According to "Giving Them An Edge," a report from The National Council of La Raza, while young Latino men have more work experience on average than their peers, the unemployment rate for Latino males aged 16-24 is 2.4 percentage points higher than the unemployment rate for white males of the same age, and double the unemployment rate of all American workers
