Regional Plan Association Wins Grant From Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to Study Climate's Impact on Wetlands

Regional Plan Association has received a one-year, $100,000 grant from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation to study the effects of climate change and sea level rise on wetlands in the New York metropolitan region.

The study, “New Coastline: Ensuring Pathways for Tidal Wetland Migration in the New York Region,” will model the potential changes to coastal wetlands, identify critical areas for wetland migration and recommend adaptation strategies for surrounding communities.
