Prescription For Making Healthcare Enrollment More Customer-Friendly
Before open enrollment for Obamacare begins this fall, NY State should take steps to make the process for signing up more customer-friendly, writes James R. Knickman President & CEO, New York State Health Foundation, in the Huffington Post.
As the state moves ahead "with an eye toward enrolling a million more New Yorkers, a few key changes could make New York even more successful." His suggestions:
- Make it easy to determine which providers are participating in each plan.
- Make it easy to compare plans.
- Reduce the overwhelming number of nearly-identical product offerings.
