New York Life Foundation Awards $1 Million to American Museum of Natural History
The American Museum of Natural History has received a four-year, $1 million grant from the New York Life Foundation to support science education and personal development programs for promising middle and high school students from traditionally under-resourced communities across NYC.
The grant, which is the second $1 million award from the foundation, also will support the expansion of the Museum’s program assessment and evaluation tools.
The earlier grant, awarded in 2010, supported the development of the Museum’s After-School Program, the Museum Education and Employment Program, and the Lang Science Program....
