New York Foundation Interns Talk About The Role of Youth in Organizing

This short film features the stories of four interns placed at grantee organizations this summer. They speak about why youth leadership is a pivotal component of community organizing. A major theme explored is how youth are putting their political and social beliefs into action and at the same time, recognize the need to pay tribute to those who came before them.

The four interns featured in this film represent the following organizations: VOCAL-New York, Cabrini Immigrant Services of NYC, Rockaway Youth Task Force, and Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice.
