New York Community Trust Ranked Number Three In Total Assets
A new report that ranks community foundations by asset size finds that The New York Community Trust is number three in the nation with $2.4 billion.
The report, published last week by CF Insights and the Council on Foundations, also found that assets of the 285 community foundations surveyed grew to $66 billion from $58 billion a year earlier. The climb in assets is credited to a jump in stock prices and an influx of gifts.
The top two community foundations by asset size are the Silicon Valley Foundation ($4.7 billion), followed by the Tulsa Community Foundation ($3.9 billion)....
