New York Community Trust Gives $8.7 Million to Nonprofits Across the City

 

The New York Community Trust, the City’s community foundation, announces grants to improve the environment, arts, education, and other areas. With our support, nonprofits will lead and analyze efforts to improve health in the South Bronx; redesign homeless shelters, gather research on treating and preventing hip fractures; help unaccompanied immigrant minors; and train gifted young artists. These are just a few of the dozens of projects (ranging from 12 to 36 months) funded by the grants below....
