New York Community Trust Announces Gold, Silver and Bronze Winners of Nonprofit Excellence Awards

The 2016 New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Awards Presentation and Best Practices Workshop was held Friday, December 2nd at the New York Academy of Medicine.  The event is one of the largest nonprofit regional gatherings and this year was no different.

More than 350 attendees enjoyed Networking Breakfast sessions sponsored by JPMorgan Chase & Co., Your Part-Time Controller, LLC, and Empower Retirement followed by the Best Practices Workshop which included a panel discussion moderated by Stephanie Thomas, CFRE, NPCC Board member and President of Stetwin Consulting. During the Awards Presentation Lorie Slutsky, President of the New York Community Trust, announced the Gold, Silver, and Bronze prize winners:

Cash prizes and scholarships for the Columbia Business School Executive Education Programs in Social Enterprise will be awarded to the three winners. The three runner-ups - New York City Outward Bound Schools, New York Peace Institute, and The Children's Aid Society - also received over $31,000 in scholarships to the Columbia Programs.
