New Guardian Life Insurance Company of America Grant to Fund Treatment for Underserved
The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America has awarded a $125,000 grant to Dental Lifeline Network (DLN) to help meet the needs of the residents of the state of Washington who are disabled, elderly, or medically fragile and suffer from painful and untreated dental diseases due to cost and lack of medical coverage.
Services funded by the grant will begin to relieve the 147 cases currently backlogged in Washington due to insufficient funding. The most immediate need will be to increase staffing hours to help expedite the process as well as identify volunteer dentists who can commit to treating patients....
