Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City Collects More than $15 Million from April 11 through September 30
The Mayor’s Fund To Advance New York City raked in more than $15 million in donations under First Lady Chirlane McCray — raising money at a more sluggish pace than in the later years of the Bloomberg administration.
McCray, who was appointed to head the fund in February, raised the money from April 1 through Sept. 30.
The fund is expected to reach around $18 million to $20 million by the end of the year, officials said....
