JPB Foundation Partners with Others in Support of Energy Efficiency for All
 
Energy costs can impose a harsh burden on low-income families. Energy Efficiency for All (EEFA) seeks to combat this adversity in 12 states with a combination of private and public funds. It is building up from a base of nonprofit commitment to create more partnerships, expand its work and reach a large population of tenants and property owners.
 
EEFA is an initiative specifically designed to help low-income families in multifamily buildings lower their energy bills through energy efficiency.
 
"One of EEFA’s missions is to point out where the challenges are and try to address them in those programs. We want to make sure these programs allow for greater participation of building owners in the affordable multifamily housing sector," said Cai Steger, project director of EEFA at Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). . .
