HSC Calls for Comments on Fair Labor Standards Act Effects on Nonprofits
As nonprofits prepare to comply with the new Fair Labor Standards Act rule on exempt employee status, which will take effect on December 1, the State is accepting comments on its own proposed rule, which would set an even higher threshold.
We are calling on our members to join us in raising concerns about the impact that this rule would have on the nonprofit human services sector.
