Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation Backs Community Development in Baltimore
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation has announced grants to thirty-one Baltimore nonprofits as part of a joint $1.5 million Summer Youth Initiative that brings together three of Baltimore's largest charitable funders.
In partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation and the Family League of Baltimore, the Weinberg Foundation created the initiative to create high-quality summer programs that blend academic learning with enrichment activities to stem summer learning loss, increase positive social behavior, and enhance academic achievement.
