Hydrofracking has become a contentious topic across the country, and many eyes are trained on New York, where Governor Cuomo and the Department of Environmental Conservation are drafting final regulations on fracking in our state. We held a recent members briefing where several presenters discussed the problems with hydrofracking in New York and the movement that is being built to stop it, and we are pleased to have Patricia Jenny, Program Director for Community Development & the Environment at The New York Community Trust, provide us with a recap.
