Ford Foundation Is A Sponsor of New Exhibits at the Muhammad Ali Center
Construction soon will begin on new exhibits at the Muhammad Ali Center after work was delayed following humanitarian and boxing champion Muhammad Ali’s death earlier this month.
“The project’s been ongoing for months,” Donald Lassere, president and CEO of the Ali Center, said in an interview on June 8, two days before Ali’s public memorial service in Louisville. “Muhammad’s passing has derailed us a little bit, but we are going to be on schedule.”
The Ali Center will add two permanent exhibits, along with a new space to house temporary exhibits. The center has hired California-based design studio West Office, Nashville-based design company 1220 Exhibits and Virginia-based multimedia business Cortina Productions to design and build them...
