James Risen, the Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times reporter who had been threatened with prison for refusing to disclose his sources, has been awarded the 2015 Ridenhour Courage Prize.
The prize, whose underwriters include the Fertel Foundation, will be presented April 29 at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C.
