Episcopal Health Foundation Tells Angel’s Story on Healthy Homes to Treat Asthma
Angel's Story looks at the early success of a home-visit program at Northwest Assistance Ministries children's clinic in Houston funded by the Episcopal Health Foundation (EHF). The program searches for the non-medical causes of children's chronic illnesses, including asthma. The video follows 14-year-old Angel as the program works to remedy issues at home that were negatively affecting his health and triggering his asthma attacks. This program is another way EHF is committed to supporting solutions that address the underlying causes of poor health in Texas.
