De Blasio unveils 60-person transition team

Mayor-elect Bill De Blasio has announced the members of his 60-person transition team, including Alexa Avilés, Program Officer at the Scherman Foundation; John Banks, Vice President of Government Relations at Con Edison; Peter Madonia, COO of the Rockefeller Foundation; Ana Oliveira, President and CEO of the New York Women's Foundation; and Darren Walker, President of the Ford Foundation.

Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio revealed his transition team Wednesday, a panel of 60 people from a variety of industries that he says will advise him in the formation of his new administration. The list is a mix of industry leaders, progressive advocates, minority leaders, union officials and others.
