Carnegie Corporation Awards $39.5 Million in Grants
 
The Carnegie Corporation of New York has announced third-quarter grants totaling nearly $39.5 million.
 
Grants awarded through the foundation's international program include $500,000 over two years to the Center for a New American Security to assess the impact of disruptive technologies on the stability of the critical U.S.-Russia strategic relationship; $600,000 over two years to the Century Foundation in support of its policy outreach efforts and to engage in dialogue regarding the drivers of conflict in the Arab region; and $485,000 over two years to the Georgia Tech Research Institute in support of a scenario-based project that will explore the dynamics of command, control, and coordination in cyber-conflict escalation. The foundation also awarded $1 million through its national program to the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching to expand its community college pathways program nationally; and $3 million to the Immigrant Legal Resource Center in support of a national citizenship initiative....
