Atlantic Philanthropies Shares Four New Reports that Examine Their Grantmaking Successes, Failures and Lessons

Christopher G. Oechsli, President and CEO of Atlantic Philanthropies, has shared a note and four reports on the foundation's successes, failures and lessons learned as the foundation prepares to close it's doors in October.

"As we get ready to close our doors in October, I am reminded of a quote I read years ago: “You must learn from the mistakes of others. You can’t possibly live long enough to make them all yourself."

In that spirit, I'm pleased to share four new reports that evaluate and synthesize what our grantmaking helped accomplish and examine our successes, failures and lessons learned along the way.

I hope these reports will be helpful to other donors, especially those interested in a Giving While Living approach and the areas we funded."
