Smith) (Commitment to Diversity & Inclusion Award) and Nixa High School GSA, Nixa, Mo. (Gay-Straight Alliance of the Year Award) along with Kimberly Reed (filmmaker), Maulik Pancholy (30 Rock, It’s Only A Play), Chely Wright (Singer/Songwriter), Joe Machota (CAA Theater Department), Tim Gill (founder of Quark and Gill Foundation), Brian Cornell (CEO of Target), Rain Dove (model), Cory Wade (model) among others.
Introduced in 2004 and held annually in Los Angeles and New York, the GLSEN Respect Awards showcase the work of students, educators, individuals and corporations who serve as exemplary role models and have made a significant impact on the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth.
