Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Helps Expand Cornell's Prison Education Program
The Cornell Prison Education Program that's brought college study to approximately 100 inmates at Auburn Correctional Facility and Cayuga Correctional Facility is set to expand its reach at prisons in Elmira and Romulus.
A $1 million, three-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation will significantly help CPEP establish collegiate programs at Five Points Correctional Facility in 2016 and at Elmira Correctional Facility by 2017....
