As the Manager of Learning, Jelena contributes to the planning and managing of our programs and events. Leading and designing programs and series with input and support from PNY leadership, she manages meeting production and execution, with supporting the creation, collection, and analysis of program data and reports. She engages in creative and responsive program development by developing relationships with our membership and sector community and keeping abreast of interesting topics in the field.
Jelena holds the Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from University in Nis, Serbia. She is coming from World Education Services NY, where she worked as Administrative Assistant for the Policy, Knowledge, and Data Management Team. Jelena has also worked for years in nonprofit organizations on various projects in Serbia, with the focus on non-discrimination, rule of law, and public advocacy process to highlight the importance of visibility and accessibility of people with disabilities.
